23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time September 6, 2026
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you!
This Sunday's readings invite us to embrace our responsibility for one another as members of God's family. In the first reading, the prophet Ezekiel reminds us that God appoints each of us as a "watchman" for our brothers and sisters. We are not called to judge or condemn others but lovingly encourage one another to remain faithful to the Lord. Genuine love sometimes requires the courage to speak the truth with kindness and compassion.
In the second reading, St. Paul gives us the heart of Christian living: "Love does no evil to the neighbor; hence, love is the fulfillment of the law." Every commandment finds its meaning in love. When we truly love God, we naturally seek the good of others through forgiveness, patience, understanding, and service. In the Gospel, Jesus teaches us how to heal broken relationships within the Christian community. Rather than ignoring conflicts or spreading criticism, He calls us to seek reconciliation through respectful dialogue, forgiveness, and prayer. Christ also assures us that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is present among them, strengthening us with His grace and peace.
As we journey through this week, let us reflect on these questions: Am I willing to lovingly help someone who has wandered from the right path? Do I forgive those who have hurt me? Am I building unity in my family, workplace, and parish, or allowing division to grow?
May this week be an opportunity to reach out to someone who needs encouragement, to reconcile with someone from whom we have become distant, and to become instruments of Christ's peace. Let us remember that the strongest witness we can give to the world is a community united in love. May the Blessed Virgin Mary intercede for us, that we may always walk in love, truth, and unity with Christ and one another.

23.º Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario – 6 de septiembre de 2026
Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo:
¡Que la paz y el amor de nuestro Señor Jesucristo estén con ustedes y sus familias!
Las lecturas de este domingo nos recuerdan que todos somos responsables unos de otros y estamos llamados a vivir el amor de Dios en nuestra vida diaria.
En la primera lectura, el profeta Ezequiel nos presenta la misión del centinela. Dios nos invita a cuidar de nuestros hermanos y hermanas, corrigiéndolos con amor cuando se alejan del camino del Señor. No se trata de juzgar ni condenar, sino de ayudar con caridad para que todos alcancemos la salvación. En la segunda lectura, san Pablo nos enseña que el amor es el cumplimiento perfecto de toda la Ley. Cuando amamos de verdad, respetamos la dignidad del prójimo, perdonamos las ofensas, buscamos la reconciliación y servimos con generosidad. El amor cristiano no consiste solo en palabras, sino en obras concretas de misericordia. En el Evangelio, Jesús nos muestra el camino para resolver los conflictos y restaurar la comunión. Nos invita a dialogar con humildad, a corregir con respeto y a perdonar de corazón. Además, nos asegura que donde dos o tres se reúnen en su nombre, Él está presente para concedernos su gracia y fortalecer nuestra unidad.
Durante esta semana, los invito a reflexionar: ¿Soy un instrumento de paz o de división? ¿Tengo el valor de corregir con amor y la humildad de aceptar una corrección? ¿Hay alguien con quien necesito reconciliarme? Que estas preguntas nos ayuden a crecer en la fe y en el amor.
Pidamos al Señor la gracia de construir familias unidas, una parroquia llena de fraternidad y una comunidad que refleje el amor de Cristo. Que la Santísima Virgen María interceda por nosotros para que seamos testigos fieles del Evangelio con nuestras palabras y, sobre todo, con nuestras acciones.
Que Dios los bendiga abundantemente a ustedes y a sus seres queridos.

Quí ông bà và Anh chị em thân mến,
Nguyện xin bình an và ân sủng của Đức Kitô luôn ở cùng anh chị em và gia đình.
Lời Chúa hôm nay mời gọi chúng ta sống trách nhiệm đối với nhau trong tình yêu thương và hiệp nhất của cộng đoàn Kitô hữu.
Trong bài đọc I, ngôn sứ Êdêkien cho biết Thiên Chúa đặt mỗi người làm "người canh gác" cho anh chị em mình. Điều đó nhắc chúng ta không được thờ ơ trước những sai lầm hay đau khổ của người khác, nhưng biết quan tâm, khuyên bảo và nâng đỡ nhau bằng lòng bác ái. Sửa dạy trong tình yêu là một việc làm của lòng thương xót, giúp nhau trở về với Chúa. Trong bài đọc II, Thánh Phaolô khẳng định: "Yêu thương là chu toàn Lề Luật." Mọi giới răn đều quy về một điều là yêu mến Thiên Chúa và yêu thương tha nhân. Khi biết yêu thương, tha thứ, cảm thông và phục vụ, chúng ta đang sống trọn vẹn Tin Mừng của Đức Kitô. Trong bài Tin Mừng, Chúa Giêsu dạy chúng ta cách giải quyết những bất hòa trong cộng đoàn. Ngài mời gọi chúng ta đối thoại trong sự khiêm nhường, sửa lỗi với lòng bác ái và luôn tìm kiếm sự hòa giải hơn là kết án. Chúa cũng hứa: "Ở đâu có hai hoặc ba người họp lại nhân danh Thầy, thì có Thầy ở giữa họ." Chính sự hiện diện của Chúa là nguồn sức mạnh để xây dựng sự hiệp nhất và bình an.
Trong tuần này, tôi mời gọi mỗi gia đình dành thời gian cầu nguyện và suy ngẫm: Tôi có đang quan tâm đến đời sống đức tin của người thân không? Tôi có sẵn sàng tha thứ và hòa giải với những người làm tổn thương mình không? Tôi có góp phần xây dựng sự hiệp nhất trong gia đình, giáo xứ và cộng đoàn hay đang vô tình gây chia rẽ?
Xin Chúa ban cho mỗi chúng ta một trái tim biết yêu thương, biết cảm thông và biết can đảm sống sự thật trong bác ái. Nguyện xin Đức Maria, Mẹ của sự hiệp nhất, cầu bầu để chúng ta luôn trở nên những chứng nhân sống động của Tin Mừng bằng chính đời sống yêu thương và phục vụ hằng ngày.
Kính chúc anh chị em và gia đình một tuần mới tràn đầy bình an và hồng ân của Thiên Chúa.
