Third Sunday of Easter, April 19, 2026
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ the Risen Lord!
This Sunday, we continue to rejoice in the Easter season as we reflect on the reality of the Resurrection and its transformative power in our lives. The readings today invite us to deepen our faith, recognize Christ in our daily lives, and bear witness to His love.
In the first reading from the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 2:14, 22-33), Peter proclaims boldly to the people in Jerusalem that Jesus, whom they crucified, has been raised from the dead. He testifies to the fulfillment of God’s promises and calls the people to conversion and hope. Like the early disciples, we are reminded that our faith is rooted in the living Christ, who continues to guide, strengthen, and renew us.
The Psalm (Psalm 16:1-2, 5, 7-11) echoes the joy and security that come from trusting in the Lord. “You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy.” Even amidst trials and uncertainty, God’s presence offers us courage, guidance, and the assurance of eternal life.
In the Gospel (Luke 24:13-35), we encounter the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus. They walked with Jesus without recognizing Him, yet He patiently explained the Scriptures and revealed Himself in the breaking of the bread. This reminds us that Christ is present with us in the ordinary moments of our daily lives—in our homes, workplaces, and in our communities—and we are called to recognize Him through prayer, Scripture, and the Eucharist.
The message for us as a parish family this week is clear: we are called to live in Easter joyfully and actively. Let us open our hearts to recognize Christ in every encounter, share His love with those around us, and be bold witnesses of His resurrection in our words and actions. In doing so, we not only strengthen our faith but also bring hope and light to a world in need.
May this Easter season continue to fill you with the peace, joy, and courage that only the risen Lord can give. Let us walk together in faith, just as the disciples on the road to Emmaus, so that we may recognize Christ in every step of our journey.

Chúa Nhật 3 Phục Sinh, Ngày 19 tháng 4, 2026
Quí Ông bà và Anh Chị Em trong Đức Kitô,Phục Sinh!
Trong Chúa Nhật thứ ba của Mùa Phục Sinh, chúng ta tiếp tục mừng niềm vui Chúa sống lại và suy niệm về sức mạnh biến đổi của Ngài trong cuộc sống của chúng ta. Ba bài đọc hôm nay mời gọi chúng ta củng cố đức tin, nhận ra Chúa Kitô trong đời thường và làm chứng cho tình yêu của Ngài.
Trong bài đọc I (Cv 2,14.22-33), thánh Phêrô dũng cảm rao giảng cho dân thành Giêrusalem rằng Chúa Giêsu, Người mà họ đóng đinh, đã sống lại. Ngài chứng tỏ sự trung thành của Thiên Chúa trong việc thực hiện lời hứa và mời gọi mọi người hoán cải, hy vọng và tin tưởng. Như các tông đồ đầu tiên, chúng ta được nhắc nhở rằng đức tin của chúng ta được xây dựng trên Chúa sống lại, luôn dẫn dắt, củng cố và làm mới tâm hồn chúng ta.
Đáp ca (Tv 16,1-2.5.7-11) vang lên niềm vui và sự an toàn khi chúng ta tin tưởng nơi Chúa: “Ngài sẽ chỉ cho con đường dẫn đến sự sống; trong Chúa có niềm vui trọn vẹn.” Dù giữa thử thách hay bối rối, sự hiện diện của Thiên Chúa mang đến cho chúng ta can đảm, hướng dẫn và chắc chắn về cuộc sống đời đời.
Trong Phúc Âm (Lc 24,13-35), chúng ta gặp hai môn đệ trên đường Emmau. Họ đi cùng Chúa Giêsu mà không nhận ra Ngài, nhưng Ngài kiên nhẫn giải thích Thánh Kinh và tỏ mình ra khi bẻ bánh. Câu chuyện nhắc nhở chúng ta rằng Chúa hiện diện trong từng khoảnh khắc đời thường—tại gia đình, nơi làm việc và cộng đoàn—và chúng ta được mời gọi nhận ra Ngài qua cầu nguyện, Thánh Kinh và Thánh Thể.
Thông điệp cho cộng đoàn giáo xứ chúng ta trong tuần này rất rõ ràng: hãy sống Mùa Phục Sinh với niềm vui và hành động. Hãy mở lòng để nhận ra Chúa trong mọi cuộc gặp gỡ, chia sẻ tình yêu Ngài với những người xung quanh, và can đảm làm chứng cho Chúa sống lại qua lời nói và việc làm của mình. Nhờ đó, chúng ta không chỉ củng cố đức tin cá nhân mà còn mang hy vọng và ánh sáng đến cho thế giới.
Nguyện xin mùa Phục Sinh này tiếp tục tràn đầy bình an, niềm vui và lòng can đảm mà chỉ Chúa sống lại mới ban. Hãy cùng nhau bước đi trong đức tin, như các môn đệ trên đường Emmau, để nhận ra Chúa trong từng bước đường đời.

¡Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo!
Hoy, en el 3er Domingo de Pascua, seguimos celebrando la alegría de la Resurrección y reflexionando sobre cómo su poder transforma nuestras vidas. Las lecturas de este domingo nos invitan a fortalecer nuestra fe, reconocer a Cristo en nuestra vida cotidiana y dar testimonio de su amor.
En la primera lectura (Hechos 2,14.22-33), Pedro proclama con valentía a los habitantes de Jerusalén que Jesús, a quien ellos crucificaron, ha resucitado. Testifica que Dios cumple sus promesas y llama a la conversión y a la esperanza. Como los primeros discípulos, recordamos que nuestra fe se fundamenta en el Cristo vivo, que nos guía, fortalece y renueva cada día.
El Salmo (Salmo 16, 1-2.5.7-11) nos invita a confiar plenamente en el Señor: “Me mostrarás el camino de la vida; en tu presencia hay plenitud de gozo”. Incluso en medio de las dificultades y la incertidumbre, la presencia de Dios nos da seguridad, alegría y la certeza de la vida eterna.
En el Evangelio (Lucas 24,13-35), encontramos a los discípulos en el camino a Emaús. Caminaron junto a Jesús sin reconocerlo, pero Él pacientemente les explicó las Escrituras y se les reveló al partir el pan. Esto nos recuerda que Cristo está presente en nuestra vida diaria—en nuestro hogar, trabajo y comunidad—y estamos llamados a reconocerlo en la oración, la Palabra y la Eucaristía.
El mensaje para nuestra comunidad parroquial esta semana es claro: debemos vivir la Pascua con alegría y compromiso. Abramos nuestro corazón para reconocer a Cristo en cada encuentro, compartamos su amor con quienes nos rodean y seamos testigos valientes de su Resurrección en nuestras palabras y acciones. Al hacerlo, fortalecemos nuestra fe y llevamos esperanza y luz a un mundo que tanto lo necesita.
Que esta temporada de Pascua continúe llenándolos de paz, alegría y valor, frutos del Señor resucitado. Caminemos juntos en la fe, como los discípulos en Emaús, para que podamos reconocer a Cristo en cada paso de nuestro camino.
